Position Summary

Are you a creative and detail-oriented professional with a knack for designing compelling Picture Ads? Blue Ocean Enterprise is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This role will create eye-catching advertising images and iterate on successful designs to enhance our customer acquisition efforts on our social profiles (Facebook & Instagram) 

The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Canva, a creative mindset to generate new concepts, and the ability to quickly implement designs. You have a good eye for conceptualizing and creating content for direct response media, and create visual graphics based on briefs written by the creative strategist and CMO.

Responsibilities

• Asset Creation: Design engaging and high-performing social ad creatives (Facebook & Instagram) that align with our brand identity and marketing goals by using Canva.
• Concept Development: Generate new ad concepts based on industry best practices and competitor analysis by using various tools like the facebook ad library.
• Ad Iteration: Create variations of already working and performing promotional images to ensure a constant stream of fresh content.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to talk at a deep (marketing) level about campaign objectives and target audience identification.
• Content management. Structuring all digital assets in our library, for efficient and clear use for the whole marketing team.
• Direct-Response Marketing: Craft suitable headlines and descriptions that align with the ad images and convey a cohesive message.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in Facebook ad design and basic marketing knowledge.
• Proven proficiency in using Canva to create high-quality designs.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset.
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for aesthetics and design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency using tools project management tools such as ClickUp, Slack, & Co.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Optional Requirements: 

• Proficiency with additional design tools like Adobe Suite and Figma is a plus.
• Previous experience in e-commerce and digital marketing
• Experience in shop-relevant graphic tasks, such as the creation of product graphics
• Knowledge of Meta Ads platform guidelines and specifications.
